Expertise

Peter’s practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting utility and design patent applications. Peter also has experience conducting due diligence assessments, handling reexamination proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, preparing legal opinions, and supporting patent litigation. Prior to joining Patent Law Works, Peter worked as an associate at Stoel Rives L.L.P. and Perkins Coie L.L.P.

Peter has technical expertise in a number of computer-related technology areas, including web applications, mobile applications, network storage systems, data management, data processing, distributed computing, social networks, business methods, and telecommunications. He also has expertise with semiconductors, semiconductor manufacturing, nanotechnology, consumer electronics, wireless communications, including 3G and LTE standards, and medical devices, including medical imaging devices.

While earning his law degree at Franklin Pierce Law Center, Peter served as an Articles Editor and a Senior Style and Format Editor of the Pierce Law Review. Peter was also a member of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.
